After leaving Lombardi's Pizza in New York we began walking up the street on our own little food tour of Little Italy. Eating Rice Pudding was not on our list but a sign on the window of Rice to Riches caught my eye. Dozens of Delicious Flavors and 3 Shitty Ones made me laugh. I looked at more signage and began busting up. "What is this place" I said to my friend. Don't know he replied lets go inside. We walked into Rice to Riches and just started reading the signs without knowing what the heck this place is selling. I was laughing as I approached the smiling young girl at the counter. "What is this place" I asked her. She said it was Rice Pudding and asked if we would like to try a flavor. French Toast my friend requested. I tried the French Toast Rice Pudding and was blown away. It really did taste like French Toast. I scanned the Baskin Robbins type counter and the Sex, Drugs and Rocky Road caught my eye. I will eat anything chocolate. Even Rice Pudding. I ordered a small bowl and was delighted with the flavor. I could only eat a little of this as it was very rich. This stuff is really good and I was so happy we took the time to walk in and give it a try. Eating here is a joy and good laugh because of all the great signs. See below and laugh!
