Stage restaurant is located in a furniture store on Kapiolani. We arrived early as the doors opened to lunch. As the first diners, the waiter described the menu and informed us that there were only two portions of pasta available because the kitchen was low on creme. Oh my gosh I thought, this place has no money. Why couldn't they go down the street and buy some creme. There is no excuse for this type of management. The Ahi Poke was o.k., the salad was bland and the fresh fish was a mess. Too much on the plate and too many flavors including Chinese sausage. Not my favorite Honolulu restaurant.
