WESTMINSTER ARMS PUB - LONDON, ENGLAND

WESTMINSTER ARMS PUB
LONDON, ENGLAND

After hours of walking around Big Ben, Number 10 Downing Street and Westminster Abbey, we were looking for some traditional British Pub Food near Westminster Abbey.  We saw a very lively place that was filled with locals around noon time.  Everyone in the Pub was having a pint of beer and it was very loud.  Lucky for us the Pub has a downstairs dining area that is perfect if you have children.  We were seated at a very small and cramped table and greeted by a jolly old Brit who took our drink order.  I ordered my first pint of Beer in London.  It was served luke warm but was very good.  A little heaver than the Coors Light I am accustomed too.  Nice alcohol content I could tell.  We ordered traditional Fish N' Chips and a Beef Pie.  The fish was really bland and mostly batter.  The Beef Pie however was "lovely" as the Brits say.  Light pastry filled with chucks of beef in a rich and delicious gravy.  Really enjoyed the beer and pie here.
