GLAZED SPIRAL HAM - EASTER DINNER AT HOME

GLAZED SPIRAL HAM
EASTER DINNER AT HOME

Blessed to have some family members over to enjoy an Easter dinner at our home.  I had some Alaskan King Crab left over from a few nights before.  Took the crab out of the shell and chopped it into chunky pieces.  Added some sliced celery, mayo and Old Bay Seasoning.  Served with some Club Crackers.  Very light on the mayo so the crab flavor popped.  Simple and delicious.  My lovely bride made a really good Bib Lettuce Salad.  Kicked it up a notch with bacon, fried onions, avocado and chunks of Bleu Cheese.  The Spiral Ham was your basic model sold at most supermarkets.  We made a glaze using brown sugar, cider vinegar and dry mustard.  Glaze was delicious.  Ham was good tasting but a bit dry.  Served the ham with honey glazed carrots and some roasted potatoes with garlic.  This was a really good meal shared with cherished family members that I love.
