SPIDERMAN ON BROADWAY

SPIDERMAN
TURN OFF THE DARK
FOXWOODS THEATRE
ON BROADWAY

Had to see the worlds most expensive play while in New York.  Spiderman we were told cost $75 million to produce.  With costly delays, injuries and numerous script rewrites I did not know what to expect.  Bottom line is that I LOVED IT.  Felt like a 12 year old kid when it ended.  I was fired up.  Happy and just amazed.  It didn't hurt to have Donald Trump and his beautiful daughter in the audience plus meeting the lead singer for Metalica in the lobby.  This nearly 3 hour extravaganza took me completely out of the present.  Gone were thoughts of work, problems and decisions.  I was a kid again.  Watching every move on stage with a smile and enjoying every minute.  Spiderman flies through the theatre with grace.  Several times landing in front of us on the second deck balcony.  Wow......The story gets really good after the first break when a major character turns himself into a villain.  His performance alone is worth the price of admission.  I don't care if the music in this show isn't the greatest Broadway stuff.  The cast sang really good but the songs are just not those types that you remember and leave the theatre singing.  You can definitely hear the influences of Bono in the music.  This is an event.  The stage, props and acrobatics make the show.  It is a whirlwind of fun that blew me away for three special hours that I will never forget.

STORY STARTS A BIT SLOW AND THEN BAM!!!!
TAKES YOU FOR A THRILL RIDE UNTIL THE END

THE SETS FOR SPIDERMAN ARE AMAZING
