KNOTT'S BERRY FARM - BUENA PARK, CALIFORNIA

KNOTT'S BERRY FARM
BUENA PARK, CALIFORNIA

I really enjoy a day at Knott's Berry Farm.  This amusement park blends the old with the new.  I love the old Ghost Town because it takes me back to my past when I walked the park with my Grandma.  Back then, the Calico Mine ride was my favorite along with the Shooting Gallery and Candy Store.  I visited all of these places with my wife and daughter this visit.  Made me so happy inside.  I don't think they fully understand the meaning this place has to me.  Growing up in So. Cal and visiting the park through my entire youth makes this place special.  So many days and nights walking through Ghost Town when it seemed so big and overwhelming.  Now it seems so small.  Over shadowed by the huge rides that the new generation pays admission for.  I love the new rides too.  Wow....the roller coasters and rides here are top notch.  The Silver Bullet ride blew my mind.  Feet hanging free and flying and twisting upside down.  I could barley open my eyes and let out a few manly screams while my wife and daughter laughed uncontrollably throughout the ride.  When the ride ended they went back for another ride.  I sat in the shade and realized that I was getting old.  Just happy to experience this with my girls.  Nothing could be better on this day in California.
