Finally made it to Sweet E's at Kilohana Square off Kapahulu Avenue.  Have read very positive reviews about this place.  Seems to have a small cult following for their breakfast.  We arrived late afternoon to find the majority of diners enjoying beautifully plated breakfast items such as Eggs Benedict, Omelets and French Toast.  My daughter did not want breakfast as she had Portuguese Sausage and Eggs earlier in the day.  I ordered the Southwestern Salad ($10.50).  Mixed greens with corn, black beans, chunks of bbq chicken, avocado, tomato, basil, cilantro, Jack cheese and croutons served with a side of Ranch Dressing.  Did not understand how croutons go with a Southwestern Salad but enjoyed the fresh greens and flavor of the bbq chicken.  My daughter tried the Kalua Pig Sliders ($9.95) for three small buns filled with your choice of BBQ or Peking Sauce.  She went for the BBQ sauce.  The Sliders were served with a cup of the soup of the day which was a Tortilla Soup.  I liked the soup.  The Sliders were o.k. but needed a little cabbage or pickle to add more texture and flavor.

  The servers were polite and friendly.  I can see returning to Sweet E's to sample some of the great looking breakfast items.  The Breakfast Burrito and Eggs Benedict are calling my name.
