UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII VOLLEYBALL ALUMNAE DINNER
STAN SHERIFF CENTER, UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII
Enjoyed one of the best University of Hawaii events ever at the Stan Sheriff Center.
This was an alumnae dinner for past and present Wahine Volleyball Players. There must have been players going back thirty years and all have played for Head Coach Dave Shoji. Dave's record, reputation and high level of admiration and respect is second to none. He is truly a living legend that is loved by the players, fans and probably even his competitors. He has amassed a record with over 1000 career wins at Hawaii with four National Championships. Hawaii leads the nation in Woman's Volleyball attendance and Dave Shoji is one of the reasons why. Always preparing the Wahine to compete and win at the highest level. Dave was instrumental in putting together this Alumnae Dinner and made sure that it was a first class event. Some of Hawaii's best restaurants provided food and the beer and wine was flowing freely compliments of beverage distributors. The event was held on the floor of the Stan Sheriff Center. The huge jumbo screen was lowered and used to show videos and photographs that told the story of Wahine Volleyball and Dave Shoji. Players old and new mingled with the guests, posed for pictures and signed autographs. This was a great event for a good cause.
