CHINA BEACH - SAN FRANCISCO

CHINA BEACH
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

I do not think of beaches when we visit San Francisco and have never sought out a beach in the city in late November.  Normally we are bundled up with sweaters, jackets and scarfs.  When we were blessed with a 70 degree sunny day our friends took us to the beach so we could get a good view of the Golden Gate Bridge.  We walked down a small path and were on a white sandy beach just minutes from the Cable Cars and rolling noisy streets of one of America's largest and most interesting cities.

CHINA BEACH

CHINA BEACH IS MANAGED BY NATIONAL PARK SERVICE WHICH
NORMALLY MEANS THE PLACE IS CLEAN AND SAFE
CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE FAMILIES AND STORIES THAT COULD BE TOLD BY
THOSE WHO LIVED AND CAMPED ON CHINA BEACH
GREAT VIEW OF THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE ON A PRISTINE DAY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
