Simply stated....Cascata was one of the best golf experiences of my life.  This place is AMAZING!  From the time you pass through the security gates and are happily greeted by the staff you can tell this is not your standard golf course.  As you enter the clubhouse, there is a large window overlooking the driving range and 400' waterfall.  The water meanders through the clubhouse and runs beneath your feet.  What a beautiful site.  We checked in and were personally escorted to the locker room where there were two lockers waiting for us with personalized name tags.  That is right.  Personal name tags on lockers when we were only here for the day.  The locker rooms are first class.  Rich woods, padded benches and wide screen screens around every corner and on every wall.  Need aspirin, suntan lotion or a shave.  The locker room has everything there for your use.  From your locker you are escorted down a flight of stairs to your golf cart that is waiting with your clubs loaded inside an air conditioned room.  No need to go outside.  They bring the cart to you.  Cascata is Italian for waterfall, and when you drive out of the clubhouse and over to the practice range you are greeted by a 418' waterfall that cascades down the mountain and all the way through the clubhouse.  Just standing there on the range made my day.  But this was nothing.  As we played each hole the views and scenery got better and better.  This is a huge course that is unique in that every single hole is separated from the others.  You cannot see another fairway or hole from the hole you are hitting on.  It is like 18 little golf courses in one place.  Oh...did I mention that your round of golf here includes a personal caddy.  Well at Cascata the caddy is included but you need to tip him after the round.  We had a great guy named Andrew as our caddy.  Andrew was very patient and humorous.  He helped find our balls, gave distance readings and showed us how the greens break.  Was really nice having Andrew along for the ride.  He really helped to make this day special.  This was a magical day of golf and a magical day in life.  I highly recommend this course if you want a "great" golf experience.  The experience is not cheap but worth every penny!
