Drove into the woods in Hannover and ended up at an old windmill that is now site of restaurant next to a small lake.  So beautiful here.  Amazing.  Like being in a fairytale.  We dined on steak and the White Asparagus that is famous in this region.  Another magical night talking with Germans who have lived amazing lives in the midst of war and terror.  I took in every word of their youth and stories about the war and life in Germany.  Truly amazing.  Loved every minute of this dinner.  The food was good.  Especially the White Asparagus covered in cheese.  This dish was FANTASTIC.
