After a round in the desert at Rio Secco we headed into Janelas for a cold beer and some lunch. Food and service were excellent here. We started with the Sampler Platter ($16). Onion Rings, Chicken Wings, Chicken Strips and Potato Skins. Loved the Potato Skins. The platter was served with four sauces. I went with the Boars Head Deli Sandwich ($10). This sandwich was big and delicious. My friends enjoyed the Tuna Sandwich ($10), French Dip ($10) and Classic Burger ($10). All were good. The Nachos with Chicken ($15) were a table favorite. My buddy ordered a bowl of Clam Chowder ($6). I tried it and it was really good.
