The Vatican Museums should not be missed during a visit to Rome. The treasures and works of Michelangelo, Rafael, Da Vinci and hundreds of other artists will simply amaze you. No matter where you look - up, down, right or left you will see some of the greatest artwork in the world. We booked a small tour of the grounds and museum through Viator.com and were given access to many rooms that are not open to the public. Really worth the money especially when we were given private access to the Sistine Chapel which is posted separately. Enjoy the images!
