I had walked for hours in Edinburgh when it started raining as I headed towards the Castle.  While most people took refuge under umbrellas, I opted to stay dry by having lunch at Thai Orchid.  I entered to find the place packed with seemed to be mostly tourists.   Many were Asian and others European.  The staff here was very friendly and they worked hard to move tables.  I was never rushed and my food came out in reasonable to fast time.  A larger table behind me complained that it was taking too long to get their food.  A woman who I think was the owner approached their table and explained that they were a large party and it would take a little extra time.   The guy continued to complain and she shut him down nicely.  I chuckled as dug into my Spring Rolls that were lightly fried and filled with Minced Pork and Shrimp.  Served with a Sweet Chili Sauce.  I added some Hot Chili Paste and was happy.  A glass of white wine to wash them down and I went onto the Grilled Shrimp.  Perfectly cooked and really good flavor.  Loved the Shrimp.  The Chicken Pad Thai was a little different that I am used to.  It had eggs covering the noodles.  Once I got past the eggs I found nice pieces of chicken and delicious noodles with Bean Sprouts and Green Onion.  This was really good food and I would definitely return if ever back in Edinburgh.
