Readers of this blog know that I love my Rainbow Warrior sports teams and the Stan Sheriff Center. Opened in 1994 and seating 10,300, the Stan Sheriff Center is the home to Hawaii's Volleyball and Basketball teams. During basketball season you can be invited by corporate sponsors or purchase tickets to the Ed Wong Hospitality Suite which is located on the court level. Admission includes a light pupu buffet that is available 45 minutes prior to the game and during halftime. If you like, you can hang out in the Suite during the game and watch it on television. There are several large screens that play the live basketball game or you can catch a football game too. I love hanging out in the Ed Wong Suite. Great place to have a cold beer before the game and during halftime. Beers are $4.50.
On this evening my Bows beat Cal State University Bakersfield so it was a good night.
