Have always wanted to visit Shake Shack especially after hearing the company was going public on the Stock Exchange. We were walking to a business reception at a hotel and I saw the large Shake Shack sign across the street. Lets do some stock research I told my friend. Lets see if I should invest in this stock. We entered Shake Shack and got in a line that was short at the time. The menu is on the wall as you approach the counter where you order. I ordered the Shack Burger ($5.19) and my friend ordered the Shack Burger with Bacon ($6.75). We split an order of Cheese Fries ($3.95) and I went with a Shake ($5.50). A Coke set us back $2.25. After waiting a few minutes our number was called and I got my first view ever of a Shake Shack Burger. Must say they were beautiful. Bright and fresh. Loved the large slices of fresh vegetables and vibrant colors. I took a big bite of my burger and loved it. Great burger. Thought the Cheese Fries were a bit bland and my Chocolate Smores Shake was good but not worth $5. I would certainly eat more Shake Shack Burgers if they had one in Hawaii. But when it comes to Burgers, I still think the best burger on the planet for the price is the In n' Out Burger. Would I buy Shake Shack stock. Don't think so after eating here. That said, the stock will probably go through the roof!
