Staying at the Peninsula always includes a visit to the pool for swimming, eating and enjoying a cold beverage. Manila is hot. Really hot. The humidity sometimes is overpowering. Nice to hit the pool to cool off on humid days. On this visit the weather was the best I have ever experienced in Manila. Hot yes, but very bearable. Actually comfortable while sitting at the pool. So comfortable that I ordered up a nice Club Sandwich and glass of champagne for lunch. Nice to be able to order from the same menu as the Lobby Bar outside. Service is great and the food is delicious.
