SONY OPEN IN HAWAII

WAIALAE COUNTRY CLUB, HONOLULU, HAWAII

Enjoyed a few great days at the Sony Open in a variety of locations including the Sweet 16 Chalet.  Located on the 16th Hole, the Chalet is a private oasis where great food is prepared by Hy's Steak House and drinks are available at a private bar.  At $185 per ticket per day to hang out in this tent it is not a cheap day.  Thankfully I was hosted by two great television stations in Honolulu who also provided an ample supply of drink tickets too.  So thankful for this Brigitte and Yvonne!!!!

I dined on Prime Rib, Miso Butter Fish and Chicken Marsala.  The food prepared by Hy's is top notch and they finished each day with either Cherries Jubilee or Bananas Foster.  Nice to sit here and eat and chat plus you have a pretty good view of the players making their second shot to the green.  My other favorite spot during the Sony Open is my friends Dwight and Donna's home located on the tenth hole.  The home is an architectural masterpiece and the ultimate entertainment pad.  The buffet served here is seriously incredible with so many items that it would be impossible to taste them all.  From Sushi to Salmon and Hand Carved Beef plus every type of salad and side dish you can think of this place has it all.  This is one of my favorite parties and we are so blessed to be invited each year.  Dwight and Donna are the ultimate humble hosts who are always smiling and introducing you to new friends.  Truly love them and their Sony Open party!
