For any American my age a visit to Dallas would not be complete without seeing Dealey Plaza and The Sixth Floor Museum.  This is the sight where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963.  It is amazing but visiting here is like time stood still.  The Plaza looks pretty much exactly as looked on that bright sunny day in November of 63.  The first time I visited this site I cried after moving quietly through The Sixth Floor Museum where you can see the site where the bullets were fired and out the window that so perfectly overlooked Dealey Plaza.  For me the best time to visit this place is early morning before the crowds and school bus tours.  Try to get in as soon as they open and you will have a more quiet and relaxed time.  When you visit Dealey Plaza so many memories come back.  The shots, President and Mrs Kennedy's reactions, the Grassy Knoll. You cannot help but make your way to the Grassy Knoll and ask yourself "what if".  For me this museum is a time for quiet reflection and thought.  I like to be by myself and just take it all in.
