When my buddy said he was getting tickets to a Diamondbacks baseball game, my responses was put me at the bar because I cannot sit and watch baseball for two hours or more. So what did he do? He sat me at a bar and we closed the ballpark this night. Wow....enjoyed a major league baseball game and did not watch most of the game. We enjoyed sitting at TGI Fridays inside Chase Field. Like being in the restaurant but you are at a beautiful ballpark that just happens to have guys playing baseball in front of you. The night was perfect. Weather was perfect. Friends were perfect. Food was perfect. Drinks were perfect. Got lost in conversation and food/drinks and the game ended and the lights went dim. We were literally the last people out of the ballpark. Just having a good time.
The tables overlook the field and you have waiter service all night. The tickets to sit out here include food and beverages and it is worth it. Food was good. Loved the Chile Cheese Nachos and could not stop eating them. My Cheeseburger was really good too. Also tried the Ribs and they were delicious. Chicken Wings hit the spot too. Great ballpark food on a beautiful moonlit evening.
Was cool when the benches cleared and even the pitchers from the right and left field bullpens ran out onto the field to be with their teammates. Luckily no blows were thrown and the game proceeded after I finished a beer.
