I grew up going to Shakey's Pizza on the mainland. A Friday night football game in High School was always followed by a night at Shakey's. Whenever I visit Waipahu I try to stop in Shakey's and enjoy their great pizza. To me this is the best pizza in Hawaii. I love the thin crust and flavorful Tomato Sauce. Really like that you can taste all of the ingredients which means they use quality stuff. The Sausage is excellent as is the Seasoned Ground Beef used on the Shakey's Special. Even the Mushrooms had great flavor. I love it when all the ingredients on a pizza come together rather than just tasting a bunch of cheese. We ordered a Large Pizza with half Shakey's Special (Salami, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Seasoned Beef, Mushrooms and Black Olives and half Ham and Pineapple ($23.98). I added a side of Jalapeños for $1.00 more. Loved the pizza!!! My Hawaii favorite pizza joint.
