BEEF TENDERLOIN
DINNER AT HOME

Our family does not eat a lot of meat at home and we rarely go out to a steakhouse unless guests are in town.  When we do enjoy a steak it is usually a small filet that we sear on both sides and then place in the oven for a few minutes.  A little salt, pepper and butter and you have a restaurant quality meal at a fraction of the cost.  Steak dinner for three on this evening was under $30 for everything.  This steak was as good as any I have had at expensive steak houses and it was enjoyed in the comfort of our dining room.
