Absolutely loved my stay at the Marriott Shunde in Guandong, China and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area. Great hotel and staff make this a very comfortable stay for business travel and I would not hesitate to bring my family here for a visit. Booking on the Executive level floors is a must. The Executive level includes a lounge that serves up a huge breakfast and dinner spread each day and all beverages are included. You can enjoy beer, wine, cocktails and even champagne when visiting the lounge. With a very attentive and caring staff in the lounge plus a great view, there is no better place to relax and catch up on emails. The front desk staff was equally attentive and always smiling and asking if they can help you. Seemed like everyone in the hotel spoke pretty good English and went out of their way to make sure your stay was comfortable.
Rooms here are first class. Clean and filled with amenities. Liked the fact that water and Internet are included with room so they are not nickel and dimeing you to death. The lobby bar was nice and they had a piano player and singer that were great. Played music in both English and Chinese. Cannot say enough good about this hotel. This is definitely a place where I want to stay again.
