Talented confectionary maker Kris Louie has opened a small store in the Waipahu Plantation Marketplace to sell her incredible Macarons and other Sweet Treats. I had never been a fan or eater of Macarons until I attended an event where Kris presented a Macaron bar. I took a bite of Kris's creations and was hooked. They are so light and full of flavor. Actually small bursts of sweetness that is addicting. If the flavor is Guava you taste the Guava. Pretty simple but so many places get it wrong. Love to see cooks and entrepreneurs like Kris follow their passion and create a business doing something they love. When in Waipahu, stop in and grab a dozen or six of her Macarons.
