When my Daughter invited me to dinner with her friends I was honored. Yes, maybe she just wanted me there to pick up the tab but how many sixteen year olds invite their Mom and Dad out to dinner with their friends. We were so happy to join them at Ichiriki. This Japanese Hot Pot restaurant offers
Sukiyaki, Shabu-Shabu and a variety of Soups. The concept is pretty simple. Choose your Broth, Noodles, Meats, Vegetables and Seafood and then throw it all in a Hot Pot that sits on your table. The food cooks in the broth and then you pull it out and eat it. I went for the Spicy Broth which was not too spicy. I liked the Meat, Seafood and Vegetables but really thought everything was so bland. The broth just does not impart enough flavor into the food. The food was good but not satisfying at all. This was the conclusion from me and my Wife but the four teenagers had no complaints and loved it.
