Love the Bayer Estate which is just minutes from our home in Honolulu.  This is a beautiful little French Farmhouse/Hawaiian Estate that has a simple charm that takes you back to a slower time in Hawaiian history.  The estate is used as the backdrop for the home of McGarret in Hawaii 5-0.  When you enter through the aged wood doors that lead to the front of the house you are immediately taken back in time and it feels oh so good.  This place really put me at peace from the moment I entered.  What a great place for a wedding or party.  Just perfect for small groups.  We enjoyed Pupu's and drinks in the front yard and then entered the home and walked through to the back yard which faces the ocean.  Wow.....so beautiful.  Enjoyed a great meal and time with friends both old and new.  This event was a fundraiser for Hawaii Speed and Quickness which is run by my good friend Rich Miano. Rich gives his time and money to teach kids and adults about sports training, athletics, conditioning and positive living.   Cannot think of a better place to spend an evening on Oahu enjoying good food, friends and maybe a little vino.
