Totally not impressed with my first visit to Chronic Tacos Mexican Grill on Kapahulu. This Chipotle type fast Mexican food restaurant was expensive and did not deliver on flavor. Two Burrito's with Guacamole and one drink cost $28. I thought this was super expensive for a Burrito joint. Typical set up like you are seeing across the Mexican food landscape across America. Pick your protein
and then how you want it served up; Taco, Burrito, Tostada or Bowl. I went with the Burrito with Carne Asada and then went down the line and picked the fillings. The Burrito came out large which a lot of people will like but the flavor of the meat and fillings just did not satisfy. Very bland even without the salsa. Totally disappointed with this food.
