SPAM JAM
WAIKIKI, HAWAII
Only in Hawaii can you block off all of Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki and throw a party in honor of Spam. From 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Waikiki is turned into Spam heaven and 35,000 people walk the streets, eating, thinking and even wearing Spam. It is a one of a kind celebration to a canned meat that is consumed in Hawaii in record numbers. I like Spam but my goodness after about one hour of sampling dishes I had to tap out. Was craving water more than ever.
