Loved our brief visit to The Red Bar at Gannon's in Wailea, Maui. Beautiful views, great service and delicious food. We started with Bev's Crab Dip ($14). I love this stuff. At Bev Gannon's other restaurant they make a Crab Dip pizza with the same Dip and I love it. The Ahi Poke Bowl ($14) was incredible. Loved the fresh Ahi, Avocado and Onions. Could sip a nice Chardonnay and eat this stuff for hours. The Ginger Shoyu Clams ($14) were amazing. Probably the best Clams I have eaten in Hawaii in a very long time. The Clams were fresh, meaty and so tasty with the incredible Ginger Shoyu Broth. No one else at the table was eating the Clams so I mowed through all of them. Only complaint on this day was that we had to catch a plane and could not stay longer. I would put Gannon's on the Must Eat list when visiting Wailea.
