Dang. Livermore could be one of the coolest cities in California that nobody knows about. The city is beautiful and has it all just about one hour from San Francisco. There are beautiful homes, a vibrant nightlife, restaurants, views, and wineries. Oh the wineries.. reminds me of Paso Robles twenty years ago and I guarantee you will be hearing about and drinking more Livermore wines in the future. Concannon is legendary because they began making wines in the 1800's and were the only winery allowed to make wine during prohibition. Reason is that they made all of the wine for Catholic Churches. The red wines here were really good and the tasting room was comfortable with great service. Only complaint is that we did not stay longer and drink more.
