Loved our dinner at Esin. This is a favorite restaurant of our friends who live down the road in Pleasanton, CA. We were greeted by the Owner who talked with us about her family and the flowers that change monthly in the restaurant. A subscription service where you pay a monthly fee and a company comes in and changes the flowers. Pretty cool I thought. We had an excellent waiter here too. He was knowledgable on the menu and wines. We brought our own bottle of Livermore wine and did a little tasting with him at our table. Food here is fresh, seasonal and delicious. Like eating Sunday dinner at home with family. Loved the Onion Soup and the entire table shared a few orders of the Gnocchi with Ricotta Cheese and Braised Lamb. My goodness amazing. I enjoyed Filo Wrapped Chicken which is like a Chicken version of Beef Wellington. Delicious and my Daughter absolutely loved the Couscous that was on my plate. She was devouring more of it than me. The Painted Hills Post Roast reminded me of a family dinner at home. Served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal vegetables. My Wife loved the Fresh Fish and the desserts were all delicious.
