Felt really weird eating at a Sushi Bar the day before another COVID-19 lockdown in Hawaii.
I was in Kapolei visiting a customer and we decided to visit Sakura Teppenyaki Sushi in the Ka Makana Ali'i Shopping Center. As we entered, we were asked if we had traveled out of State and our temperatures were taken. Wearing masks we approached the Sushi Bar and took our seats. The menu here is extensive with something for everyone. What caught my eye was the Sushi lunch specials which included your choice of three Sushi Rolls for $12. Prices here are fair and our lunch for four people with two orders of Steak, Miso Soup, Salad, Teriyaki Chicken and an bunch of Sushi was just under $100. We ordered a lot more than what is shown here. For some reason, I just did not feel like taking pictures. Guess I am rusty from not eating out. Food was great here. Loved the Filet Mignon Sushi which was presented to my friend who dines here often by the Sushi Chef. Will definitely go back here again.
