I loved our dinner at La Vie Waikiki. The food was great but being with my girls was incredible. To see their beauty, smiles and happiness here made my birthday so special. The food was special too beginning with the bread. Oh my goodness. The bread. The BEST BREAD EVER. I would return again just for this. It is buttery and filled with Truffles. Had to throw out the low carb diet for this one and happily did. Wow...simply amazing and the best bread on the planet. Follow that up with some Foie Gras, wine and this dude was in heaven at La Vie. The menu here is pretty simple. Choose three or four courses and you can pick what you want. You can have three or four appetizers or entrees. If you like Foie Gras you can order 4 orders. Love the Venison - order four courses of that. Want four desserts they will do that too. Basically any combination of the menu items that you can come up with. My faves were the Foie Gras, Black Winter Truffles with Potato Dumpling and Alaskan King Crab Ravigote. Everything was delicious with great presentations and service. Appreciated the surprise birthday dessert too.
