A dinner to remember.... Loved the Monarch Restaurant in Dallas. Service, food and the energy level here is perfect. From the time you enter the building and are greeted with a glass of champagne to enjoy during the elevator ride to the 49th floor, this place rocks. We could not of asked for a better Server. She took us in like family and made sure we were happy with everything that came out of the kitchen. She engaged us in conversation and provided information on the restaurant and also other places to visit in Dallas. Yes this place is not cheap but the quality of the food is top notch. We split the Chopped Salad and the portions were still large. Salad was perfect. The Black Truffle Risotto and Cacio e Pepe were amongst the best I have ever eaten. Oysters super fresh and the King Crab and Shrimp chilled to absolute perfection and filled with fresh flavor. The Dover Sole and Bronzed Scallops were excellent. Actually enjoyed every single dish and have absolutely no complaints. We were invited to visit the 50th floor Speakeasy after dinner. A nice venue for the after party and sushi. We were so full from dinner that we could not enjoy the Sushi but did enjoy some nice vino. Dining at the Monarch is a must in Dallas!
