TURKEY SOUP

DINNER AT HOME

Feeling a bit under the weather for days now (non COVID) so my Wife used our Thanksgiving leftovers to make a batch of Turkey Soup.  Came out tasting delicious and really hit the spot.  She usually puts pasta in the soup but to stay low carb she added Cauliflower in its place.

I fell in love with Bubbly and Bleu as soon as I walked in the door.  The place just feels good and has a cool vibe.  We were greeted enthusiastically by the staff who made us feel very welcome and appreciated from the start and this continued until we left happy and full.  After viewing the cheese in the refrigerated coolers we sat down and ordered from the small menu which will be enlarged soon to include specials, soups, tea service and more.  We ordered the Warm Triple Creme Brie with Roasted Mushroom Medley served with a Seasoned Flatbread.
Well this kind of killed my low carb diet for the day but it was worth it.  The warm flavorful Brie and Mushrooms on the Flatbread was cheese heaven.  Delicious and very filling.  We had plenty to take home with us and they boxed it up nicely.  The Tomato, Sweet Basil, Fresh Mozzarella and Pecorino Ramano Flatbread was a light, fresh and delicious small Pizza that was cooked perfectly.  As I sat here enjoying lunch, I was already planning my next visit with a bottle of champagne or wine.  Yes...this place is BYOB and there is no corkage charge!!!
You can order small or large Cheese and Charcuterie Platters starting at just $21.  I highly recommend you visit Bubbly and Bleu and don't be surprised if you see me sitting there sipping a nice glass of vino and enjoying some cheese.

Going with a very light dinner after the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Simply Seared Ahi with a dipping sauce made of Shoyu, Dijon Mustard, Wasabi, Honey and a drop of Sesame Oil.  
This is one of my faves!

THANKSGIVING PIZZA

We had some Italian meats leftover from our Thanksgiving Cheese and Salumi Platter so I made a delicious Italian Sandwich.  Topped it with New Orleans Central Grocery Hot & Spicy Italian Olive Salad which is famous on their Muffuletta Sandwich. Wow the Olive Salad was good and super spicy.  The stuff packs some real heat.

Blessed to spend Thanksgiving at home with friends and family.  Enjoyed an incredible feast that began with appetizers on our lanai.  Cannot say enough about how great my Wife cooked. She literally did not stop from 7am to 4pm on Thanksgiving Day and prepped the day before.  She made everything from scratch and the flavors were amazing.
