Totally enjoyed our dinner and time at Carmine's Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas. From the time we walked up to the hostess stand to the time we left the staff was smiling, welcoming and friendly. Our waiter was great and from the outset let us know that the portions here are huge and meant to be shared. There were just two of us eating so there was way too much food. This is a great place to bring a group and I certainly will next time we visit Las Vegas with friends. As we were walking through the Forum Shops, I stopped at the information desk to get directions to Carmine's. The person at the desk gave me directions and handed me a coupon for free Garlic Bread. Holy cow...the free Garlic Bread portion was massive, cheesy and oh so good. I ate half a slice and my Wife had a slice. That left six huge pieces of bread on the table. Rather than waste it we offered it to the table next to us and they gladly accepted it. Garlic Bread was delicious and worth a few carbs on a total cheat meal. The Carmine's Salad arrived chilled and it was enough for at least four people. We liked it but it was a little over dressed with a creamy Italian dressing. Would have preferred a standard vinaigrette. Next up were the Steamed Clams in a delicious white broth. You can choose between a white or tomato sauce with the Clams. Clams were large and meaty. Delicious. The Lasagna was huge and delicious. We barely put a dent in it. Thought it was well made with quality ingredients. This was a good meal and I really want to come back to Carmine's with a group of eight or more people so we can enjoy more dishes family style. Highly recommend this place for large groups. Great staff and service! We took 3/4 of the Lasagna to go and gave it to our Uber driver who was so happy to receive it.
