I have always wanted to dine at the Golden Steer Steakhouse in Las Vegas. This is one of the last old school hang outs of the Rat Pack and other celebrities that is known as much for their clientele as their food. The place looks like it has not been updated for many years which I like. Loved the staff that always made sure we were happy and enjoying our food. We Started with a dozen Oysters which were absolutely delicious. We don't eat Oysters in Hawaii because it is hard to find a restaurant that serves them fresh. These Oysters were fresh and packed with flavor. Loved them. Next up was the King Crab Salad. Basically a large glass of chilled sweet Crab and nothing else. Liked it. The Caesar Salad which was made at our table was a good show and even better tasting. One of the best Caesars ever. My Wife ordered a single Lobster tail and I went with a Filet with Lobster. Steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned and delicious. The Lobsters were large and meaty but not that sweet. Really needed to soak them in butter for flavor. I loved the overall atmosphere, service and food here. Would love to return again.
