We have stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach several times and it has always been a nice place to stay. I like the location because it is easily accessed from the freeway and has a walkway across the street to restaurants and shopping. Nice to be able to walk to dinner. Before venturing out at night I highly recommend you stop by the lobby bar and witness a true professional work the bar. Johnny who has been behind the bar here for 15 years puts on a clinic on how to be a great bartender. He interacts with each customer, remembers what they drink and always compliments them or engages them in brief conversation. Like taking a lesson on How to Win Friends and Influence People. Truly a professional bartender who understands his job and customer service.
