L'Opera was nice and the service was excellent. Food however really did not blow us away. All three of us left unsatisfied. Everyone loved the fresh bread served with a Garlic Pesto. This stuff was so good that I would put it on everything. We started with the Il Pesce Crudo All'Italiana which didn't seem Italian at all. Being from Hawaii we are used to fresh Ahi that has not been treated with carbon monoxide. This was treated Ahi and it had very little flavor. The Caprese with local Burrata was good. I liked the flavor of the Burrata and when you added the Tomato and Garlic Pesto that is served with the bread it was delicious. I went for the Ragu Di Lasagne which was good. I liked the Cappellacci Di Zucca that my Wife ordered better. The Ravioli had more flavor and I kept eating off my Wife's plate. My Daughter went with the Scaloppine Piccata which was served with a nice side of Penne Pasta with Tomato Sauce. She didn't think the Veal had much flavor and liked it more when eaten with the Pasta. I tried it and agreed. Enjoyed the ice cream dessert. Probably would not return here again.
