My Wife bought a boatload of Chicken Drumsticks because they were on sale.  They have been sitting in the freezer for weeks so I decided to try to use some up.  Made these Honey Baked Drumsticks and they were pretty darn good and the salad was great.

Absolutely the best wine dinner of my life hosted by Master Sommelier, Michael Jordan at Oahu Country Club.  Wow...the food, wine, service and friends were amazing.  Michael is a master of wines, story telling and entertainment.  He crafted the evening with stories, history, experiences and even played the guitar and sang Hawaiian songs.  The food by Chef Mike at Oahu Country Club was perfect.  I mean every dish was packed with flavor and perfect with the variety of delicious wines.  Service impeccable and friendly.

Foodland Hawaii has done it again.  Another great market and restaurant concept in the heart of Waikiki.  The Pico Kitchen + Bar on the ground floor facing Kuhio Avenue is a great space to eat and drink.  The smiling hostess and staff were so friendly and engaging.  Made us feel happy being there.  We were greeted by several of the wait staff and offered a complimentary drink.  You can choose from alcohol or non-alcohol.  I went for the alcohol which was a delicious Soju drink.  My Wife went for the juice and loved it so much that she ordered a full glass.  Food was good.  The fresh Ahi Poke was beautifully presented and filled with flavor and textures from Onions, Avocado and Cucumber.  The Confit Fried Chicken was really good but we did not care for the salt or Nuac Cham dipping condiments.  The Manila Clams were tasty and the bowl was filled with Green Beans and Kambucha Squash that added flavor and texture.  What was missing was some bread to soak up the sauce.  Loved this little spot and the incredible market above.

Made Chicken Salad using up what was left from a Rotisserie Chicken. Stuffed the salad into half of an Avocado and topped with Caviar.  Trying to use up a bag of Avocados that are ripe and Caviar that is about to expire.  Delicious!

Enjoyed a rare breakfast at home and made Avocado Toast with Egg and Caviar.  Low carb bread of course.  Seasoned the Avocado with Everything Bagel.

CHICKEN CACCIATORE

I asked my Wife what she wanted for dinner and she said to cook whatever we have in the refrigerator and then out of the blue said "Chicken Cacciatore".  Didn't know if she was joking or what because she has never requested this dish.  When I got home I found that we had all of the ingredients so I made it.  Used San Marzano Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Onion, Garlic, Bell Pepper, Carrots, White Wine, Chicken Stock and some Italian Seasonings. Definitely will make this again!

My Wife brought home a Pizza from Fatto A Mano at the Ward/Blaisdell Farmers Market.

This is some really good Pizza.  Liked the crust, sauce and toppings.  Not cheap though at $19 but I totally understand the food cost in Hawaii.  Definitely having this Pizza again!
