Crazy but my Wife wanted to take the Alcatraz Island Tour on Mother's Day. Wish granted of course. The large ferry gets there in just a few minutes and then you are off on your own tour with a headset. Stay as long as you like and stroll the prison on your time. I kinda like this format because you do not need to stay with a tour group.
