Loved our stay at the Four Seasons Tokyo Otemachi in Japan. The staff here is well trained, attentive to your needs, remembers your name and works hard to make sure that your stay is a five star experience. The hotel is located on the top floors of what seemed to be a high end office building. To get to the lobby and rooms you must go to the 39th floor. When you go to your room you go down to floors 34 thru 38. A bit awkward at first but we got used to it pretty fast. The hotel is beautiful with a relaxed upscale feel. Most guests were dressed very casual and the place didn't feel stuffy with attitudes at all. Australian golf legend Greg Norman was there a few days and he dined in the restaurant and had meetings in the lobby area. I liked having a glass of wine and snacks each evening in the lobby bar where the staff was very nice. The one thing that did bother me is when the first words out of a staff member is "what is your room number". This happened several times and annoyed me. Other than that, the staff and management were top notch. We loved breakfast each morning in the Pigneto restaurant which serves Italian food for lunch and dinner. Breakfast includes an extensive buffet plus your choice of an entree. My Wife loved the Japanese Breakfast and I changed it up with Salmon, Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast and Sunny Side Up Eggs. I asked to have my Eggs Benedict served with a Tomato in place of the bread and they always happily made it that way.
The staff again at Pigneto was amazing. Loved our room and especially the bathroom with huge shower and a soaking tub with view. Plenty of bottled water was provided day and night which was nice because of the heat. Gym and Pool were also great. My Daughter enjoyed the pool, spa and sauna daily and she said it was heaven. This is a great hotel that I highly recommend. I'll be staying here again on our next trip to Tokyo hopefully!
