RAINBOW WAHINE VOLLEYBALL - TEAM DINNER AT STAN SHERIFF CENTER

UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII
RAINBOW WAHINE VOLLEYBALL
TEAM DINNER

The night after University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Head Coach Dave Shoji locked up his 1,107th career victory (NCAA Division 1 record), we joined a sellout crowd of 10,300 fans at the Stan Sheriff Center to watch the Wahine sweep UCLA in three sets.  After the game we were privileged to host the coaches and team for dinner in a large room inside the arena.  With a lot of help from our friend Nao of Kahai Street Kitchen we did a small buffet that included Caesar Salad, Penne Pasta with Mixed Vegetables and Marinara Sauce, Fresh Opakapaka with Lemon, Butter and Caper Sauce, Stuffed Chicken with Spinach and Ricotta, Fresh Fruits and the Kahai Street Kitchen 7th Heaven Brownies that the Wahine players absolutely loved.  Great to spend a little time talking with Coach Shoji and the players.  Mita Uiato, one of the best Setters in Wahine history was extremely gracious as was Kayla Kawamura.  All the girls were great and a pleasure to serve.
