Our friends who live in Long Beach took us out to Simmzy's on 2nd Street as it is a short walk from their beautiful home. After some great wine and cheese and their house, we walked through the quiet and charming coastal town of Long Beach to the happening 2nd Street. 2nd Street is lined with shops restaurants and bars that can get pretty hopping with young and old alike. We entered Simmzy's to find it packed with a young crowd sipping craft beers from West Coast breweries. We were seated at a very long table that runs down the middle of the restaurant and is adjacent to the bar. Service was very prompt and efficient. Seems like the food was there as soon as we ordered it. Don't know that may have been the wine and good company that made the time pass so quickly. I enjoyed the 15 Minute Wings and a few slices of pizza. Everything was good but it was the company that made this dinner special. Just one heck of a good time that really seemed to end too fast.
