WOW....what a treat to be able to play golf at Turnberry in Scotland. This has been the site of four British Opens and countless other European Championships. Golfs greatest have played these links and now I was here to hack it up on one of golfs most famous courses. I loved this course. Rates up there with one of the best golf experiences of my life. We golfed nine courses in Scotland and Turnberry was at the top of the list along with The Old Course at St. Andrews, Kingsbarns and Castle. Had a great caddy at Turnberry. We made our way into sand traps and the rough with a smile. Never complaining and always looking out over the water and saying "wow, this is awesome". This was simply a magical day of golf. Enjoyed a great meal here too. The restaurant on the second floor of the clubhouse has a great view and ever great food. I enjoyed the Fish n' Chips. Probably the best I have ever eaten. The fish was perfectly fried. The fish was bright white and not greasy. You could taste the fish and it was delicious.
