PAPPARDELLE WITH HAMAKUA MUSHROOMS, SAGE AND BUTTER
DINNER AT HOME
Wanted to post this recipe again after making it for the Holidays. This is hands down one of the families favorite meals. Perfect for a hot summer day or cool winter evening and so easy to make.
The flavor of the fresh mushrooms and sage shine here and I guarantee you will love it too.
HAMAKUA MUSHROOMS, PARMESAN CHEESE, BUTTER, FRESH SAGE, LEMON AND PAPPARDELLE |
HAMAKUA MUSHROOMS ARE SO PERFECT FOR THIS RECIPE |
CLEAN AND TRIM MUSHROOMS |
SLICE MUSHROOMS INTO ABOUT 1/4" THICK PIECES |
HEAT BUTTER UNTIL SLIGHTLY BROWN |
ADD FRESH SAGE AND JUICE FROM 1/2 OF LEMON |
LET THE SAGE INFUSE THE BUTTER WITH FLAVOR |
ADD THE HAMAKUA MUSHROOMS |
COOK MUSHROOMS UNTIL TENDER |
REMOVE MOST OF THE SAGE |
STIR IN COOKED PAPPARDELLE PASTA |
FINISH WITH GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE |
