We finished a nice round of golf in Houston and headed back to the Omni Hotel tired and not wanting to dress up and drive somewhere to eat.  Ended up walking into the Noe Grill at the hotel and we were very happy we did.  The food and service here was excellent.  Our waiter flowed with our humor and added his own personality to the table which was quite enjoyable.  Kind of felt like we were in our own restaurant eating, drinking and having a lot of fun.  All four of us dining loved the food and service and to be honest were kind of blown away with the flavors of the food.  The Roasted Root Vegetables at Noe are amazing.  Probably some of the best vegetables I have ever tasted.  We all loved the vegetables so much that it was a topic of discussion for several minutes.  Pretty amazing to find four buzzed golfers talking about how good the vegetables are.  Believe me they are really good. Roasted and seasoned to absolute perfection.  So good in fact we all wanted to thank the chef after our meal.  Our waiter went back to the kitchen and in a minute the Chef appeared at our table looking rather shell shocked.  When we gave him our glowing reviews of the vegetables and food he opened up with a big smile and engaged us with a few minutes of conversation about his cooking history and recipes.  Great guy who has a passion to serve up great tasting food that he likes to eat.  I devoured my vegetables and Grass Fed Beef Tenderloin.  The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly.  I can rarely finish a small 8oz steak and this one went down in its entirety.  Delicious!
