I have dined at the Chicago Chop House many times over the past 30 years. Was always a "go to" spot when visiting Chicago. The past few times however have not been that good and after this visit I will probably not go back again. Nothing hit the spot on this night. Pretty much just average and nothing to rave about. The Wedge Salad was just ok. The Au Gratin Potatoes with Bacon were so so. The Sautéed Mushrooms bland and the Steak was tasteless. My Filet had no flavor or seasoning. I only ate three small bites and did not want to finish. Really under impressed for a $400 meal for two with wine. A good Steak could have saved this meal but that was not to be.
