We were excited to visit Little Italy in San Diego and were looking forward to a great Italian meal. Unfortunately we picked the wrong restaurant for our taste. Buon Appetito missed on the most important level; taste. Our entrees were some of the worst we have had at any Italian restaurant but lets start with the appetizers. The marinated grilled Artichokes were OK and nothing special according to my Wife. The Octopus was chewy and flavorless. The Borsettini di Aragosta which is homemade pasta filled with Lobster and Cheese did not taste like fresh pasta and the filling was flavorless as was the sauce. No taste of lobster to be found anywhere. I ordered the Vettelo Piccata o al Marsala with Pasta. The Marsala Sauce was tasteless as was the meat. I am not kidding the dish was not seasoned and tasted so bland that I barely at any of it. Totally disappointed with Buon Appetito and would not recommend or go back.
