Driving home from the Windward side of the Island and my Wife suggested we stop for a pizza at Pieology.  At first we were going to order one pizza to share and then my Wife decided to get her own.  I ordered my pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage, Red Onion, Jalapeño and Pineapple.  I like the Pieology thin and crispy crust and flavor of their sauce.  Makes for a good pizza for around $12.

Blessed to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner at home with family and friends.  Food was truly incredible.  My Wife cooked all day and I prepared the appetizers and a few side dishes.  Sooooo Good!

Enjoyed a nice lunch from Ray's Cafe at my office.  Grilled Ono with Fried Chicken.  Included Salad and Rice too for $12.  Chicken is Crispy and juicy.  Large piece of Ono which was good but a little dry.  Some of my co-workers had the Prime Rib and loved it.  Good food here.

Enjoyed another lunch at Ahi and Vegetable.  This time I got a Sashimi Salad.  Really nice portion of super fresh fish but for me the slices were way too thick.  I like a thinner Sashimi.  Salad Dressing lacked flavor.

Back on Maui and one of my co-workers recommended we try Fernando's Mexican food.

I went for a Carne Asada Burrito but ended up with a Chimichanga.  Long story but the Chimichanga was simply the Carne Asada Burrito deep fried.  This is a really good burrito and I will definitely be back on another trip to Maui.

Cooked ten Spiral Hams to give out to children for a Holiday Celebration in Waimanalo.  We placed all of the ham in pans for serving and were left with a lot of ham bones covered in meat.  Decided to make Split Pea and Barley Soup because my Daughter loves this soup at California Pizza Kitchen.  Downloaded the recipe and made this delicious soup that the entire family and friends loved.Really a great soup that will make you a Split Pea and Barley Soup lover.

SERVED UP ALL THE HAM AND KEPT THE BONES TO MAKE SOUP

ONIONS, CARROTS, CELERY AND GARLIC 

BROUGHT ALL THE BONES, PEAS AND BARLEY TO A BOIL IN CHICKEN STOCK AND THEN SIMMERED FOR TWENTY MINUTES

ADDED THE VEGETABLES

SIMMERED FOR AROUND TWO HOURS STIRRING OCCASIONALLY

Blessed to be able to provide 10 Spiral Sliced Hams for the families in Waimanalo.  This Annual Thanksgiving celebration brings the community together for inspirational messages, great food and lots of toys and bikes for every child that shows up.  Amazing day hosted and planned by my friend Kaui Kauhi.  Feels so good to be part of this event and give back.  And yes these hams are delicious.  Taste like candy and so hard to stop eating.  Worth every penny at $18 to $21 each.  Now we have lots of ham bones with plenty of meat on them so I will make Split Pea, Ham and Barley Soup tonight!  You cannot go wrong buying this product.  Highly recommend for any occasion.

THESE ARE SO EASY TO PREPARE AND DELICIOUS

HAM IN A BAG

REMOVE BAG.  HAM IS FULLY COOKED BUT NEEDS TO BE HEATED AND GLAZED

WRAP IN ALUMINUM FOIL

BAKE AT 275 DEGREES 12-15 MINUTES PER POUND

COOKED THREE AT A TIME

HAM HAS BEEN HEATED FOR AROUND 90 MINUTES


HEAT AND STIR THE GLAZE MIXTURE

PLACE HAM IN PAN AND GLAZE

GLAZE HAM THOROUGHLY AND BETWEEN SLICES.
PLACE BACK IN OVEN AT 450 DEGREES FOR 8 - 10 MINUTES

HEATED AND GLAZED HAMS RIGHT OUT OF OVEN
